Our Story: A Legacy Woven with Love

Exquisite’s story began in 1991, born from a deep love of fashion, creativity, and entrepreneurship. That passion was nurtured by the remarkable women who shaped my life—my mother, a gifted fashion designer, and my grandmother, a skilled tailor. Their hands, vision, strength, and dedication taught me that fashion could be more than beautiful clothing; it could be a form of expression, a source of confidence, and a lasting legacy. By the age of 10, I had already discovered that creating with fabric was part of who I was.

On February 12, 2011—my birthday—I opened my business space in Kansas City, Missouri. That moment marked far more than the beginning of a new chapter. It was a courageous step forward, a celebration of perseverance, and a tribute to the generations of women whose creativity and determination paved the way for me. With every stitch and every challenge, I continued the family legacy of craftsmanship, resilience, and love.

Since opening in Kansas City, Exquisite has grown beyond fashion into a purpose-driven mission. Through custom apparel, breast cancer awareness, support for cancer survivors, fashion education for students, and meaningful community outreach, we use creativity to uplift, encourage, and make a difference. Our work is designed not only to help people look and feel their best, but also to remind them of their strength, worth, and ability to overcome.

Today, Exquisite’s story continues to unfold through compassion, creativity, and service. Every garment we create, every custom design we bring to life, every student we inspire, and every family we support carries the spirit of the women who came before me.
